Using Classic Sites

Session Three Thursday

Classic sites rather then new slides

Plan first. Have a mental image of what you want to do and where you want your
Turn off header
Turn off site bar by clicking on them.  This gives a white page

1080 pixels - will give a good size page

Page setting
Take off show page title
Take off show links to sub pages

Now have blank canvas to start on

Pencil to edit page
Insert table
Select number of squares. Type in the heading for the box and how many pixels knowing that the page is 1080. Round down if necessary.

HTML button - don't drag the boxes as they just don't come out even
Find header word - change pixels that say 60 to 1080
Find reading word - change pixels that say 60 to 360
Same with other 2 boxes

Open google draw
Resize canvass
File. Page setup
1080px by 200px
Make header using shapes and T for text box
Download image
File
Download as PNG image as this keeps the transparency in the background
Insert image, then resize if necessary on the site page.

Take out the black line around
136,136,136.   (Black line)   To.   255,255,255. ( white line)

Creating buttons - go back to google draw
Page setup
Custom
360px X 360px

Mask image - arrow next to crop button
Save as png

ETC!!!!    See the slide presentation


Update and save and border has gone.
